Site update

Books from Japan was updated on May 10, 2017, adding synopses for 4 works of fiction and 7 of other categories. (Italicized English titles are those of finished translations; others are tentative titles.)

Due to the closure on March 31, 2017 of its previous sponsor, the Japanese Literature Publishing and Promotion Center (J-Lit Center), Books from Japan is now administered by the Foundation for the Advancement of Juvenile Education in Japan (FAJE). There will be no changes in the mission, content, or format of the Books from Japan website. We appreciate your continued interest and support.
