Yuka Kobayashi

Yuka Kobayashi 小林由香

Yuka Kobayashi (1976–) was born in Nagano Prefecture. In 2006 she received the Jury and Staff Prizes at the Isama Studio Cinema Festival for her short-subject filmscript Zensokuryoku oyaji (Full-Speed Pops). She made her fiction-writing debut by winning the 2011 Shōsetsu Suiri New Writers Prize for her mid-length story Jajjimento (Judgement). Her first hardcover collection of five linked stories appeared in 2016 under the same title.
