James Shūichi Nakano 中野ジェームズ修一

James Shūichi Nakano (1971–)  was born in Nagano Prefecture. He is a personal trainer who offers his services at sports clubs throughout the Tokyo area. His private clients range from top athletes (pro tennis player Kimiko Date, table tennis player Ai Fukuhara, and others) to professional models, whom he advises on both mental and physical fitness. His books include Karada ga wakagaeru 10 no seikatsu shūkan (Ten Habits that Will Create a Younger You), Atama no ii hito no karada no kitaekata (Physical Fitness for Smart People), Kyō no sutoretchi (Today’s Stretches), and Kyō no ekusasaizu (Today’s Exercises). He frequently serves as supervisory editor for magazine articles on exercise, and maintains a busy lecture schedule as well.
