Kōji Ishikawa いしかわこうじ

Kōji Ishikawa (1963–)  was born in Chiba Prefecture and graduated from Musashino Art University. His colorful illustrations of animals and people grace a variety of media, including publications, advertisements, and character designs. More recently he has become known as an author of children’s books. His best-selling Kore nāni? Katanuki ehon (What Am I? Cutout Picture Books) series now runs to more than a dozen volumes and counting. Many of his titles have appeared in overseas editions in France, Korea, China, and elsewhere.
