Kei Amano

Kei Amano 天野慶

Kei Amano (1979–)  was born in Tokyo and now lives in Nara. She is a poet of the traditional tanka form, composing short poems that reflect contemporary Japan with a fine sensibility and forceful expressive power. Her publications include Uta no tane: Daredemo tanka, dokodemo tanka (Seeds of Song: Everyone Tanka, Everywhere Tanka).
